Acoustic Polymers Ltd is a subsidiary of Tiflex Ltd, part of the James Walker Group. APL is based near Gloucester and specialise in delivering high performance polymeric based materials aimed predominantly at acoustic signature management or subsea environmental protection.
Our specialist materials are especially suited to customers involved within ultrasound, sonar and subsea electrical and electronic markets. The focus of our expertise lies in the design, development and manufacture of thermosetting compounds such as polyurethanes, poly-ureas, epoxies and silicones. We work closely with our customers primarily to listen and learn their requirements to ensure we provide the most effective solutions. We pride ourselves on having the knowledge, equipment, ability and commitment to find a solution to meet the specific needs of our customers.
