Acoustic Polymers Limited is delighted to announce we on 30th May 2024 we were granted Cyber Essentials Plus certification. This reflects our ongoing commitment to prioritising cyber security across our organisation, and builds on our previous Cyber Essentials certification.
Cyber Essentials Plus is the highest level of cyber security accreditation that can be achieved under the UK’s National security Centre (NCSC) backed by Cyber Essentials scheme. Membership of the scheme demonstrates APL has the necessary processes and measures in place to protect the information we hold from being accessed through cyber-attacks. Cyber Essentials Plus requires both a self-assessment and a system test from an authorised third party. APL achieving this certification reflects the importance APL places on protecting the data of its customers and employees.
For APL to be successfully awarded with Cyber Essentials Plus, every computer in the APL network was subject to thorough testing by a third party. This, together with the self-assessment carried out in house, and provision of evidence to support this assessment, resulted in a successful application for APL.
